At what time can we check-in and out?

Check-in time for all rooms is 1:00pm and check-out is 11:00am. If you arrive early you can leave luggage at the Property before check-in. Our check-in limit is at 7:00pm, for later arrivals you must contact us in advance.

Is the price per room or per person?

The price is per room, it includes service and Vat (but not the tourist tax).

Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?

Yes, continental breakfast is included in the price. Our continental breakfast consists of coffee (or tea or hot chocolate), juice, rolls, croissants, assorted jellies, yogurt, nutella, butter and cheese.

How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift)?

All of the rooms are on the first floor (one floor up from ground level). We do not have an elevator.

Do you have any rooms with private bathroom?

All of the rooms at Alloggi Barbaria have private bathroom with shower.

Do the rooms have a terrace?

The rooms do not have a terrace, but wide windows permit the sun and fresh air to get in at any time. Some of the rooms overlook a courtyard garden.

Do you have non-smoking rooms?

Alloggi Barbaria has both smoking and non-smoking rooms. Guests should inform us of their preference in advance and we will accommodate them in the rooms they prefer.

Do the rooms have TV? Are there international channels (satellite TV)?

All of the rooms have TV, many of the rooms have satellite TV with several international channels.

Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms?

All of the rooms have a telephone with direct dialling.

Is there air conditioning in the rooms? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?

All of the rooms have air conditioning. There is no extra charge for this. This service is seasonal (June – September). However, if you do require air conditioning outside of the seasonal period, please ask a member of the staff for assistance.

Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?

Alloggi Barbaria has WiFi service for free in common areas and in some rooms.

Is there a supermarket in the nearby?

A convenient supermarket is located only a 1 minute walk from Alloggi Barbaria.

Is parking or garage available?

A large parking garage is located near the bus terminal in Venice. Guests requiring assistance in locating parking for their car can contact the hotel, who will be glad to help you to find the best accommodation for your car.

Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?

We do not offer a shuttle service from the airport but it is very easy and inexpensive to arrive at Alloggi Barbaria from the Marco Polo Venice International Airport. Visit our How to Arrive page for more detail.

Which is the nearest “vaporetto” (waterbus public transportation) stop?

The nearest “vaporetto” stop, Ospedale, is a less than 2 minute walk from the Property.

Is there a restaurant in the Property?

No, there is not a restaurant in the Property but there are many genuine Italian restaurants near Alloggi Barbaria. Feel free to ask our staff for recommendations.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is free of charge up to three days prior to arrival (by 12.00 hotel time). After that date we will charge one night to your credit card. In case of “no-show”, one night will be charged.
