“Great value in Venice”

The  9th of July 2012: “This small hotel suited our needs very well. In researching places to stay in Venice it was very clear that it is not a cheap city to sleep in. For about $100 we were able to book a comfortable and spacious room here. Air conditioning was provided which is very nice on a hot summer day!
Georgio was the host of the small hotel/B&B. He seemed a little bit hurt that we didn’t stay for breakfast either day. But he was a little bit odd over all, lol. He took care of us though.
The location is nice. It is a little further removed from the touristy “heart” of the island. This is nice because it gives you an opportunity to see the real Venice – not just the tourist driven parts of it. We had a little bit of trouble navigating our way to and from the hotel to our desired destinations – but that is part of the fun. It is easy to get a little lost in Venice.”

"Great away-from-the-bustle stay": October 2017: “Just got home after spending 8 nights at the Alloggi Barbaria. First, I must commend Fausto for being a great host. Prior to arrival, he always responded to emails promptly and with good answers to any questions. In person, he is even better. He took the time to help better my ...
